How did you meet?
We met through mutual friends who thought we would get on well based on our likes and interests. They were right – we clicked instantly and were engaged within 2 months of meeting!
How much did you enjoy your Wedding Day?
Our wedding day was by far the best day of our lives. We got married in the local church in the town where we now live. The weather in the week before the wedding had been rainy but on our wedding day the sun shone beautifully. That was also really helpful for our reception since we had ordered a marquee outside!
Did attending Marriage Prep with us help?
The Marriage Prep course helped us to look deeper at our relationship. Although we had considered many of the ‘big questions’ already, the course allowed us to spend more time thinking about them and discussing them at a deeper level without distraction. We liked that it was personal to us as a couple and that we only talked with each other rather than within a large group of couples. We feel that future issues in our relationship can be solved through our learned communication skills and also through our faith.
Would you recommend our Marriage Prep to other couples?
Yes, definitely. The course gives you the opportunity to share with your partner in a relaxed, comfortable and friendly environment. It also helps your marriage to have a firm foundation for your future together.

How did you meet?
We first met at an event in Evesham but didn’t start dating until two years after that. It was a long distance relationship, with me (Becca) in North Wales and Dom in Wimbledon, London. After almost two years of dating we got married!
How much did you enjoy your Wedding Day?
We loved our wedding day! It was so much fun and there was lots of laughter. It was so nice to celebrate the start of our married life together with our family and friends.
Did attending Marriage Prep with us help?
Yes! The topics were really spot on and there was plenty of time to discuss privately what we thought as a couple. The course handbooks had useful questions in them to guide our discussions. It was really helpful to record our thoughts since we could look back later at what we had discussed. We also enjoyed talking to other couples – it was really nice to spend some time with people who were in a similar season in life!
Would you recommend our Marriage Prep to other couples?
Yes – go for it! It’s a great opportunity to talk about things that you might not normally discuss but which are really important.

How did you meet?
Bizzie and I met through a mutual friend when I got invited to her birthday party. We were good friends for a couple of years before getting together at a New Year’s Eve party and things progressed from there.
How much did you enjoy your Wedding Day?
Our wedding day was made extremely special because so many of our friends and family were there to share it with us. Ely cathedral was a definite highlight. We had a fantastic choir which really made the service. The reception was great, we had a fantastic hog roast followed by lots of dancing until the early hours.
Did attending Marriage Prep with us help?
Yes, it helped us look beyond the wedding day and really consider the things we both wanted for our marriage and lives together. It gave us the opportunity to discuss matters that sometimes get overlooked while planning a wedding. Having real couples talking about their experiences helped us draw inspiration to put into our relationship. We now have tools to help resolve possible conflict in a constructive way and ideas to help enrich our marriage for a better future.
Would you recommend our Marriage Prep to other couples?
We would absolutely recommend the course to any couple getting married. It is often easy to get so excited about the “Big Day” that very important issues get overlooked. Marriage Prep will give you the space to talk about these subjects. There’s no group work, just you and your partner with time to go through important topics.
